  • Invader Zim
      • Invader ZIM, a puny green soldier from planet Irk, gets banished from the Irken Empire after single-handedly botching their first invasion effort. After begging his superiors, the Almighty Tallest, for another chance, they decide to get rid of him once and for all. They trick him into going on a "secret mission" to an obscure planet at the edge of the universe, a planet with the unlikely name of Earth. Intent on bringing down the human race and proving to his superiors his worth, ZIM roams the planet, disguised as a schoolboy, in search for the planet's weaknesses. The only one standing in the way of ZIM's mission is his classmate Dib, an obsessed paramormal investigator, tries to unveil his true alien identity. Will ZIM destroy the planet Earth before DIB proves his secret to all humankind?

      • Greatest Animated Series Ever.

      • Simply said, this was the best thing that has ever and will ever come out of Nickelodeon.

Canceled much too early because of Parent's concerns and Nick's greedy fingers.  Invader Zim, according to Nick, held very low ratings week to week and cost three times the amount to produce than next highest show cost was.  Nick failed to report however that practically every week Nick changed it's time slot preventing it from gaining a solid audience.  The high quality/high cost that accompanied the show was consequently given an Emmy nomination in it's rookie season and only lost out to Futurama in the prime of it's viewing.

So instead of letting an audience take hold, Nick basically told the show's producer Jhohen Vasquez, either to get it more 'kid-friendly', and give Nick some production powers or risk being canceled, so instead of giving up most of the production, he produced as many episodes as possible until the studio was shut down.  This is why some 'new' episodes came out in 2006, and the audio from two other episodes have been leaked.

It doesn't matter now and unless all the voice actors, producers, animators, and Jhohen Vasquez's inspiration for the show come back together again and the rights to the show sold to a worthy network like comedy central, the series is over.  Still every single episode is a gem and worth any price.  Especially the first episode, The Nightmare Begins.
