- Trent and Gwen have made up after last week's challenge - at least initially, as the teams learn that this week's movie genre is the classic Teen Beach Flick. The first challenge Chris throws at them all is riding a mechanical surfboard in front of a green screen. Which could be fun, except they have to do it 'Total Drama Style' and perform in a tank of sharks, which is stationed in a freezing cold studio, while Chris and Chef lob seagulls and other hazards at them. Beth's developing a serious crush on the gorgeous Justin, and it kinda costs her team the win. Any chance they had of making it up at the prop sandcastle building contest (held back on good old Total Drama Island) is nearly destroyed by Trent's desire to keep on Gwen's good side and his nutty near-compulsive behavior - though Beth pulls them back from the brink with her own compulsion to make stacks of friendship bracelets coming in handy in castle construction... SPOLER ALERT: After Trent throws the tiebreaker dance-off around the beach bonfire (with a wink to his lady friend, Gwen), her team wins a totally wild Hawaiian Beach Party. Marooned at the beach due to Duncan's vandalism of the bus, Trent's team can only watch in mouthwatering envy...
