Neek, Neek, my dear Neek. Truly you are the student. You know that illustration that you're using as a picture describes your inner profile perfectly. A person who's mind is going in multiple directions. Before I address one of your questions. I want to rent or own the movie What The Bleep Do We Know? Then get real, because if you're able to comprehend the message in that movie. Like the Buddha you have become awake. Quatum Physics huh. Thats very profile sis. To answer on whether I believe in that stuff as you put it. Would be like asking Albert Eistein if he believed in his theories. Yes I believe in it to a degree. But honestly I'm not a physic so I dont understand vastly. This is whats clear about to me Quantum physics is a branch of science that deals with discrete, indivisible units of energy called quanta as described by the Quantum Theory. There are five main ideas represented in Quantum Theory:
Energy is not continuous, but comes in small but discrete units.
The elementary particles behave both like particles and like waves.
The movement of these particles is inherently random.
It is physically impossible to know both the position and the momentum of a particle at the same time. The more precisely one is known, the less precise the measurement of the other is.
The atomic world is nothing like the world we live in.
I have attended lectures on the subject listening to scientist speak of it. I have attended religious science pastors and practisioner lectures in non denomination spiritual gatherings.
All these people have their takes on it, some believe it explains God or the creator. But does it because physic is as deep as black hole in space there is tons to learn still. I would like to fully grasp it contains many clues as to the fundamental nature of the universe and is more important then even relativity in the grand scheme of things (if any one thing at that level could be said to be more important then anything else). part 1
Looks like you running a Marvin Gaye feature of the night. Anyway about the message. Hey Neek thanks for reading my passages. My inttentions in that writing were not really about the Laws Of Attraction. But I can see where you might have felt that was the message. Law Of Attraction is one omy favorite subjects. I've taken and taught work shops on that topic. Everyone from Jesus to Buddha and other prophets had talked about the law of attraction. I know you're not into relgion nor am I. I'm purely mystic. When I thought up this subject and how to present it. I was thinking of tenasity and how it takes a real tenacious individual to look at each obstical as challenge, and not test that they may or may not win. But anyway its good hearing from you. Keep on searching for self and bright moments to you and all that surrounds you.
WELCOME TO THE WINNER CIRCLE FOR THE MONTH OF JULY (Because we all are winners)
If you encountered roadblocks on your way home tonight, would you put a "For Sale" sign on your car and give up?
Why is it that if you encountered unexpected roadblocks on your way home tonight, it would never occur to you to simply give up trying to get there? It might take you longer, but you'd find some other way to make it home, wouldn't you?
I believe this is because you have a crystal-clear picture of your goal in mind and you also have unshakable confidence in your ability to achieve it. Confidence alone without the picture won't get you there, and neither will the picture without the belief in yourself. But together, they are an unbeatable combination.
When you discover this hypothetical obstacle, a way around it might not be immediately clear to you. You could be in an unfamiliar area or completely unaware of alternate routes, but that wouldn't stop you, would it? You would figure out the "how-to" as you went along. You would ask for help, borrow a map, and, one way or another, you would reach your goal.
The same is true of any goal you set in life. You don't have to know exactly how you are going to achieve it at the time you set the goal. In fact, if you expand your goals beyond what you know how to make happen, and if you hold a picture of the end-result you want vividly in your mind - refusing to give up until you achieve it - you set a powerful process in motion that will help you with the "how."
I'm Feeling it, I feel the LEX pushing up on the set, I feel the HIGH that yu get from the light. if you feel it raise your L in the SKY! whats good neek!
WELCOME TO THE WINNERS CIRCLE FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE.
(BECAUSE WERE ALL WINNERS)
This came to me one night while watching the world turn.
If you see something violent in a movie or on TV and you imitate it who is responsible? This is an interesting question, and one that bears some serious thought.
If a kidnapper imitates something she saw in a movie, are the
moviemakers responsible for her actions? Not as far as I'm concerned. If a murderer says he was inspired by something he saw on a TV show, is the TV show responsible? I sure don't think so.
Now, don't get me wrong. I believe our entertainment media should aim for high-quality productions that improve character and inspire us to live better lives. But the best way to ensure that this happens is to "vote with your feet" so to speak. In other words, refrain from buying products sponsoring shows that conflict with your moral values, and write to the sponsors telling them how you feel.
The same goes for movies. Don't plunk your money down at the box office if you're concerned about the movie's message, no matter how long the lines are to get in the door. And let's not be confused about personal accountability, either. Except in the case of a genuine and serious mental illness, each of us is responsible for our own actions, no matter what the circumstances.
It does no one any good to blame a TV show, a movie, the media, the so-called "system," or society in general for individual acts of violence or immorality. Personal accountability is the cornerstone of a healthy society just as it is an essential part of a healthy individual
THE WINNERS CIRCLE FOR THE MONTH OF MAY (BECAUSE WE ALL ARE WINNERS)
WELCOME.
I wasn't sure if I had a subject for this month. I was hitting writers blocks left and right.
Comfort is normally a good thing, but when comfort becomes complacency,we're in trouble.
All of us have seen what happens to certain celebrities and athletes who reach a certain level of success and then just stop. They are those used-to-be stars about whom people say, "I wonder what ever happened to
so-and-so?" Well, what usually happened was that they became complacent, and then they stopped working, stopped stretching, and stopped growing.
Singer song writer Bob Dylan said, "He who's not busy being born is busy dying." Now, it's true that sometimes we need to take time to rest - to lie back, contemplate, reflect, even to heal. But if your intention is to be truly alive, you use that time to gather your energies for new growth, new movement, and new accomplishments.
Someone once asked Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald's, for the one piece of advice that would guarantee a successful life. Kroc said, "When you're green, you grow. When you ripen, you rot." He was talking about an attitude, not an age.
You see, it comes down to a choice. Every experience can be an
opportunity for new growth, or it can be an excuse for decay. It is up to you. Success can be a springboard to greater things, or it can be a resting-place. But if it is a resting-place, chances are you won't keep that level of success for long.
WELCOME TO 2009
WORDS OF WISDOM SERIES FOR JANUARY 2009
If I were to say to you, "Old people are...." and then ask you to finish the sentence, how would you fill in the blank? Think about it for a moment.
"Old people are...." What? Fragile? Senile? At death's door? What do you believe about old people? What if I said, "Old people are bright, energetic, active and interesting."
You see, it's really impossible to generalize about so-called old people, any more than we can safely generalize about teenagers or 50-year-olds.
Does aging have to mean a loss of significance? Do our older selves matter less than our younger selves? Much of the answer to these terribly important, but rarely-spoken, questions lies within our attitudes.
If these attitudes define old age as a time marked by loss and decline, we are in for some real trouble. Besides, there are simply no data to support this negative conclusion. As Norman Cousins once said, "No one knows enough to be a pessimist."
Aging, like most everything else, turns out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. You will get largely what you expect to get, what you believe, and what you think is likely for you. Pygmalion was not a casual insight of George Bernard Shaw. It was an observation of everyday dynamics.
So if I ask you to complete the sentence, "When I am an old person..." what will you say? Do you expect the best for yourself? Do your actions support those expectations?
WORDS OF WISDOM SERIES FOR OCTOBER
(If you dont want to be on this enlightment network. Let me know)
There is a trick to the Law of Attraction. This trick is not really as magical as one might imagine. We attract the things that we focus on. When we focus on not having enough that thought form supports the "lack of" we routinely experience.
We are forever reminded to use affirmations and to keep our thoughts positive but Feeling Sorry for Myself continues to be the mantra of many people.
We are bombarded with repetitive negative phrases in our thinking such as I just can't get ahead, I couldn't dodge the bullet, I won't be the winner, I don't have enough, etc. etc. Are you guilty of continuously repeating negatives either in thoughts or words? Is your negative mind set pretty much representative of your current life situation? If your answer is YES, then Congratulations! You are living proof that the law of attraction works. You are a champion at attracting negatives.
Why do we focus on our illnesses, our low-paying jobs, and our less than fulfilling relationships? We do so out of habit. Breaking the "attracting negatives" habit, just like any other bad habit will take some effort on your part. Especially so, if you have been dwelling on the negatives for years. Your parents might have taught you this behavior by being the role model of "criticism" or "negative language." If this is so, then they are likely mirroring behavior they learned from their parents, and so on back through the generations. Isn't it time to break this negative cycle?.... urr rather, in postitive terms -- IT IS time to break the cycle.
Several years ago I created my first manifesting scrapbook. I filled the pages with affirmations and clippings of pictures that depicited the things that I wished to have materialize into my life. In other words plant the seeds of positive and see what happens
