      • Hello to My Beautiful Sister. I sent you an email a few weeks/months back. I was doing a check-up on my friends and it had been a while since you had listened. I wanted to know that you were doing well and that things are beautiful for you. I've been busy bringing some ideas to fruition; therefore, my music plays while I work. I'm happy you checked up on me. That's what sister-friends are for. Keep in touch, and take care of yourself. Peace and blessings, Leesha

      • WELCOME TO THE WINNERS CIRCLE FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE.2009 (BECAUSE WERE ALL WINNERS) This came to me one night while watching the world turn. If you see something violent in a movie or on TV and you imitate it who is responsible? This is an interesting question, and one that bears some serious thought. If a kidnapper imitates something she saw in a movie, are the moviemakers responsible for her actions? Not as far as I'm concerned. If a murderer says he was inspired by something he saw on a TV show, is the TV show responsible? I sure don't think so. Now, don't get me wrong. I believe our entertainment media should aim for high-quality productions that improve character and inspire us to live better lives. But the best way to ensure that this happens is to "vote with your feet" so to speak. In other words, refrain from buying products sponsoring shows that conflict with your moral values, and write to the sponsors telling them how you feel. The same goes for movies. Don't plunk your money down at the box office if you're concerned about the movie's message, no matter how long the lines are to get in the door. And let's not be confused about personal accountability, either. Except in the case of a genuine and serious mental illness, each of us is responsible for our own actions, no matter what the circumstances. It does no one any good to blame a TV show, a movie, the media, the so-called "system," or society in general for individual acts of violence or immorality. Personal accountability is the cornerstone of a healthy society just as it is an essential part of a healthy individual

      • WORDS OF WISDOM SERIES FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2009 When you're feeling all at sea, or tossed about by life's occasional stormy weather, do you maintain some safe anchor points? When everything seems to be changing around you and you're feeling a bit out of control,is there a rock of stability you can hang on to until you get your bearings again? We all need some stress and tension to give our lives zing and motivation, but too much at once can be a real problem. If your marriage is shaky, your son has just dropped out of school, and someone has just run into your car at the supermarket, you don't need any more changes for a while. Keep at least some things stationary by returning to and maintaining customary activities or familiar habits. Touch base with old friends who know you well and with whom you feel completely comfortable. Find an island of calm and create some respite for yourself, so that you can return to the mainland of temporary chaos feeling rested, restored, and clearer about who you are and what you really want. Whether it is a small summer cottage, a special fishing cove, a campground by a river or a trip to a day spa, take some time to indulge yourself during times of rapid change. Return to your personal anchor of peace and quiet for a while. It's a practical tactic in a good strategy for coping with change.

      • Happy Birthday!!!!! The words should be spoken both as Frosty the Snowman and as Billy Dee Williams when he said "You want my arm to fall off?". Pour a little something for the sisters that couldn't be there.
