Hence the first four numbers were 1337 or "leet". Evryone should be able to play that code game if you search from your Zune.net page, right Mego?   - Yer Funeral: U beum rite! Oops let me rephrase, I was stuck in Red Lake Falls lingo relating to Mego Rock Cory! Her ewe picture scared the sh** outta me! I was having flash backs visioning Cory Taylor from Slipknot! Dude you're always welcome to drop me a line and enlighten me on the going ons in Frisco & Dethklok. I'll be visiting my kin folk in Cali from Dec 5th to Jan 5th. I plan to revisit Pebble Beach, Carmel by the Sea, Monterey, Seaside, Marina, Salinas, Santa Cruz and finally the Bay Area ending up in San Francisco. Last year I tried to visit all of these sites in two weeks and couldn't take it all in without rushing. This year I'll have a whole month to cruise around with a rental car and unlimited mileage. So much to see and explore! Thanks for the Dethklok education. I felt that they were way too damn good to be studio musicians (since I couldn't recognize any of them). Their guitars synchronization was so fluid with exact timing to be amatuers. I was dumbfounded especially with the drummer Gene Hoglan! That man's drumming techniques was so intriquite along with his tireless blast beats. Hoglan was complimenting both lead guitarists instead of keeping beat in the background. My favorite drum guru Carmine Appiece from the Vanilla Fudge, Cactus era would of labeled Gene Hoglan as an excellent technical drummer! That night Dethklok definetely became one of my favorite Death Metal group! As far as being brutal I would agree that Dying Fetus and Despicied Icon ranks up there. Leng' Tech, Cattle Decapitation, Job For A Cowboy, Jungle Rot, Bloodbath, Kataklysm, Goatwhore, Impending Doom, Oceano, Pig Destroyer, Soilent Green and Severe Torture are just a few Death Metal groups that I would rank as "brutal". They all have similiar versions of tune down, intriquite lead guitarists, precision blast beatting drummers and growling / shreiking vocalists! Good s*** Maynerd!! \m/><\m/

  - Sorry to be taking up your space but finally got through catching up on your latest buys. We don't have FYE here anymore it has disappeared. To many good mom and pop used places and Best Buy made them hit the road here. Funny you mentioned Despised Icon in the same breath as Dying Fetus. I really didn't get into the latest Despised because it reminded to much of Dying Fetus. I been fan since 'Killing on Adrenaline' and that is still the stand out album for me. I do like how Dying Fetus and Despised Icon have stuck to the brutal formula though. Not that I am complaining but lots of death metal bands are relying to much on melody and a technical crunch. Just give me straight-up brutality any day! Prefer the melody and technical stuff to be in prog stuff myself for the most part. Just weird like that.

  - Well hello there. I haven't been seeing concerts of late. There has been so much going on with the bay bridge here which is closer to the venues then the Golden Gate it just seems like to much a hassle especially for the length of drive I already have to go through just to get to San Fran. I am hoping to see Baroness tour in December and maybe BTBAM, Cynic, Devin Townsend tour in January. We will see. Seeing about going to American Carnage tour but sometimes hard to get freebies for large shows. Strangely enough planned on having an artsy/quirky metal week with my Zune with Primus, Idiot Flesh, Polkadot Cadaver, Mr. Bungle, etc. but didn't turn out that way. Clearing out my Zune for anything none 2009 release for the Thanksgiving week since I know will have deadlines for getting in charts coming up for magazines and such. I didn't see Dethklok this tour. I saw their first tour but Dethklok is far from plain studio musicians. I forget who is who but as far as guitar/bass (not counting the show creator) goes you have a guy who had played in Frank Zappa's band and I believe both have played in Steve Vai's band. So you know they have to be top notch players, right there. Drums you got mr go to metal drummer, Gene Hoglan. The guy has a resume 100 miles long. I still get a kick out of the fact when I saw him tour with Strapping Young Lad when they were opening for Testament back in the day they brought him out for a good chunk of Testaments set because Jon Dette, who drummed for Slayer just before joining Testament, couldn't play Hoglan' stuff from 'Demonic'. Hoglan is almost enough to just get me out to see a band to see him drum which will likely be with Fear Factory next!
