I've got a thousand songs in each folder and it would take me forever to go back and figure out what playlist it should go into. Maybe I'm not explaining it clearly.
I'm confused at what your trying to do. Why drag a folder from Explorer? - just use the Zune software and drag individual songs or entire albums.
I had that figured out but what if you have folders existing that included your songs for that playlist. We evidently can't just drag that particular folder over as a playlist?
In the bottom left, in the Zune Software, there is a notepad-like icon next to the CD icon. Click it. There is a Create New button. This will create new playlists. When in your music collection, right click the songs you want to add to the playlists. If you have more than one playlist, it will let you choose which one to add it to.
Do you guys know how to make a playlist for the zune? I had folders already made on my external hard drive for different genres of music. I tried to save them to the zune software as that type of playlist but it just dumps them into the zune as a bunch of songs which are not in playlists. It worked easier with the old software. I could manually place them but I've got 5000 songs.
I was able to find it used on Amazon.com. So it should be here soon. I can't wait. I love that CD. Brings back some memories.
