Life is truly what you make it. We cant control everything, but what we can we should definetly make the best of it. (())>%--- LevitteTell them who you really are. They want to know your musical taste too!
WELCOME TO THE WINNER CIRCLE FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 09 (Because we all are winners) Bright moments to you and yours and the subject for this month is your comfort. I ask you; What have you gotten used to in your life, and why? It has been said that people can get used to almost anything. If it happens gradually over time and in small enough increments, I believe this is true. When you become used to things being a certain way, you develop what we call a comfort zone around them. When you're in your comfort zone, you don't really have to think too much about it. If you're used to cleaning up your house every day because you like things neat and tidy, it will put you out of your comfort zone to wake up in the morning and see a sink full of dirty dishes. Generally, you will make sure that doesn't happen. If, on the other hand, you get used to seeing a sink full of dirty dishes every morning when you get up, it won't bother you at all. Now, if you are expecting company, the things you've gotten used to and comfortable with may suddenly become very un-comfortable. "That's okay for me," you may think, "But I don't want my company to see it like that," and you go to work to clean up the mess. Do you know people who go on crash diets before a school reunion or other special events? It is the same sort of thing. Take a look at your life. Are there things you've gotten used to, bit by bit, that surprise you a little now? Don't just put on a facade for company. Aren't you worthy of the same consideration and the same high standards you display for others? Do it for yourself, because you deserve it
U understand how you feel about the track thing, and sometimes ppl can get like that. I think your friend was more jealous of you then you were of her. To be honest, Vaulting takes more balance and control than it does upper body strength. Its fun tho, i promise you that. I'm about to transfer to the University of Maryland--and I major in Computer Science, minor in Mathematics. They call me the brainiac, the over achiever, the nerd, all of the above, but i just love what i do, ya kno?
hahaha that was a long time ago...i just ran no hurdles...but i play tennis now...hope i dnt get too fat...hahaha but old...guess ill just have to deal with that...:)
Im glad you feel at ease talking to me. ~wink~ I like talking to you too. In high school we couldn't run more than 4 events, and my sprint coach tried to make sure we did as much as possible. I wasnt the best thing when it came to the 100, but I could run with the best in the 200. I'm better evening speed with endurance, I cant do straight speed. I'm just not fast enough. But yeah, Texas is madd cool. I hope you did well with your track meet. I know what you mean about being nervous. I was like that when it came to pole vaulting, but once I got in the air, it was ALL GOOD!!
