      • SmartDJ vs. Genius, Genius hands down! Zune's attempt at a Smart DJ compiles the worse possible playlists, least fro me who listens to mostly New Age type music. The iPod class is much more compact and thinner than the Zune is, and the battery lasts many times longer than Zune. And for the price I paid for my 30GB Zune two years ago, I got a 160GB for the same price from iPod! Already ran out of room on the Zune, and with the battery being stupid, guess the timing was right.

      • Only reason I used the Zune software is the playlists were easier to manage. Since the new software made a mess, and the way Zune sorts things, it's easier to use than iTunes - till I get iTunes figured out

      • Zune playability was more straight-forward than the iPod, of course I'm used to the Zune. ANd I have to go through my collection again, and straighten the mess that Zune made, so when I scroll to an artists I'll see just their name, and not numerous indexes of Artist Name +ALl The other indiviual artsists what was in the song compostion too. Gawd, when I want to play Delerium, I dont want Delerium+Aname, Delerium+AnotherName, & Delerium+with SoAnd So. Zune software sure knows how to make a mess, and the new software messed up my album covers again!

      • Speaking of which, the Zune likes to complain of it's battery when it's been turned off. Not sure what is up with the Zune 30GB, but it's a good thing I replaced it. It was acting up at 75% battery charge, but now it's saying it needs a charge and the battery meter is full. Zune battery lasted a bit over two years, so I guess it's time to put it in a box or eBay it.

      • Got my iPod 160GB in today, with it's customer personalization. Been playing it for 11 hours now, and barely even notice battery use! The zune would of died hours ago.

      • Those songs I had issues with, the few remainign ones that Zune hasn't gotten around to in removing from my purchase history? Those songs that I rarely listened too, that it claimed I downloaded too many times when I haven't even heard them 5 times? And those saongs that never got downloaded at all? - C00D135C - The button goes from download, to pending, to Buy. - That's piss poor customer service there Zune.

      • Bought a new 160GB iPod. May still keep my Zune account to follow one down-loadable TV/video series. Had it with Zune's excuses on losing music I/we paid for, and not being able to copy to and from the device. Zune has too many excuses to cover it's own and none that are customer oriented, they lost this customer.

      • Yo! Thanks for the shout out about my heart. Now it comes down to whether the heart or the cancer will get me first. The cancer is catching up fast. I can feel it. Good thing for the morphine. Where was that when I was young and healthy? sheesh... I have always held to the credo, "Live hard. Die fast. And leave a good looking corpse." Well, I have "Lived Hard." But, I am still hanging around, and as for the "good looking corpse, well, I am as still as pretty as I ever was. I got my disability retirement in 2007 and am still hanging around. I have several doctors who want to know why I am still around with this cancer. I'd kinda like to know myself. Government stats tell me that I should have been gone around April or May of 2008. Can't help ya. So, we'll just leave it to my God and let Him decide when it's time. Hey, I caused a lot of pain and suffering during my life, maybe I need to have a bit of that done to me for a while. When I have "suffered enough, well, then, bye-bye! But thanks for your words. I would have answered earlier, but with all that's wrong, I tend to get lazy. Peace, Dale

      • Phobos & Operatica O arrived in CD today, added them to the library. Operatica O was a whopping $5 (used) with shipping, whereas Phobos was around $20 (used). It's amazing that one can buy used CDs, which is hard to say how many times music has been recorded/ripped off them. Yet one cannot do the same with non-CD formats. Odd.
