Doctors by day, the husband-and-wife duo of
Ken and Roberta Carter-Harrison formed a pop band called
the Wild Strawberries to engage their spare time. The duo debuted in 1993 with a self-produced EP and released Bet You Think I'm Lonely in 1994. The single "Life-Sized Marilyn Monroe" gained airplay on Canadian radio, prompting Nettwerk Records to sign
the Wild Strawberries. A second album,
Heroine, appeared in 1996, followed two years later by
Quiver. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
