I saw them live on Jan 31st with Slipknot and Coheed, no offense to all you Slipknot people out there, but Trivium put on the best show I've seen. (Slipknot's was good but Joey's bass drum hurt my lungs *dontask*). these guys are a must listen to.
Saw them live and there even better...Great albums...if its your first time then you should listen to the crusade album but most people fell in love with ascendany, but my favorite would be shogun
i love Ascendany, and i love the Crusade just as much. i think the crusade really showed how much trivium has grown as a metal band. i recently picked up Shogun, and i was blown out of my freakin socks by how insane it was and is sure to be a classic for years to come just as Ascendancy will be. i also kinda think Shogun was a mix of Acendancy and The Crusade, i can def hear the Acendancy part tho ;) if you are looking to get into Trivium, i would highly recomemend you would pick up Acendany first, you wont be disapointed :]
Glad these guys broke out. I like all their cds, Ember to Inferno is a great cd, you just need to listen to it a few times. Ascendancy is going to be a classic for years. The sound is awesome on every song. The Crusade is good, just not the usual Trivium, more mainstream. Shogun is going to be another classic, glad they changed back to this style, it works.
