Thrice's new Album, Beggars, is refreshing, new, and unexpected coming from Thrice. Although us long time fans of the band know by now to always expect the unexpected. This one sounds highly polished and perfectly balanced between the frantic fast-paced lyrics from Thrice's earlier albums and the stripped down almost folk sounding melodies of The Alchemy Index, Vols.3 & 4: Air & Earth. This one is a winner, and I'm looking forward to what Thrice can come up with next.

is the best word to describe Thrice. Each album has its own feel and meaning to me and I love this band. Beggars is an amazing album for sure.

im glad to see some real thrice fans i like the fact that ppl here can respect the fact that thrice can change how they sound and still keep their fan base, my fav band by far.. looove the solo albums too!!

this is undoubtably my favorite band. they have songs for every mood, and you'll never find a band with as much variety.
as much as i love these guys, i cant help but wonder if dustin in in it for the money, with all of his solo album, and even a christmas album.

you'd never expect a band like thrice to go from artist in the ambulance like hardcore to symphonic tones found in the alchemy index...thrice is awesome on so many levels...the direction their music is going is different, but not terrible. They have definitely matured over the years from their amazing old style, but lets face it, at least they're better than miley cyrus and the jonas bros.! (that was a compliment, not an insult to thrice's amazingness)

The New Direction

I love Thrice's new direction that they have been heading in, it's definitely what the current music scene needs -> a style to breathe life into an otherwise overworked, and recycled genre.

My favorite Thrice album is still the Illusion of Safety, but my favorite song is without a doubt Flags of Dawn.

Thrice for me doesn't fall into any genre, other than Amazing Fuckin' Music.

And if you haven't seen Thrice live, you owe it to yourself to check them out. Their cd's do not do them justice, at all.
