the weakerthans / comments

Has anyone heard "My Favorite Power Chords" off the G7 comp "Take Penacillin Now"?  It's literally a thirty second thrash song with really low mixed spoken/yelling vocals.  I thought my copy had the tracklisting wrong, you wouldn't guess it was them at all.

...can be found in a Weakerthans album. Upon first seeing the Weakerthans I realized they were not your typical band. Smart, talented, and yet humble, they were able to win me over with their witty lyrics and heartfelt melodies. The Weakerthans are one of those bands which may not be the most rock heavy and won't win you over with their stage presence, but their humility and sincerity shine through in everything they do. Not only that but it is one of VERY few bands where I can safely say that they only improve with age as each new album is that much more amazing than the last. Now it would go against the design of the band to harp on the fact that John K. Samson from Propaghadi formed this band, but it is their uniformed work that make them among the most amazing bands I have had the privilege to enjoy. -Adam
