An anonymous producer based in Seattle, WA,
the Sight Below released
Glider -- a dark ambient techno album seemingly inspired by shoegaze and
Wolfgang Voigt in roughly equal measure, featuring layer upon layer of processed guitar -- on the Ann Arbor, MI label Ghostly International in November 2008. The set was later taken on the road, with performances at Detroit's Movement festival, MUTEK, and Sónar; there were other live dates at venues beside
Lusine. Former
Slowdive member
Simon Scott occasionally joined
the Sight Below on-stage. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
