the cure / comments

My mother said it was just a phase  I was goong through in the 80's and 90s...well it is still a very long phase mom, i love the cure and i am mid thirties now!!! I hope it never ends....

Since 1979 I have loved the Cure. I got my first record (an import ). I played it till my needle wore out. Also it took until 1987 for me to find out the name of the album because there is no name on it not even the bands name. I spent 4 years wearing my hair like Robert Smith and dressing like him . A band that is timeless. They go on through time amazing every generation. The stage shows are always wonderful. The CD's are always good.  The loves songs keep on coming . The band has had many break-ups, but has managed to keep on going all these years. If you go to England to see them. Get there real early, like days early for the concert. You will see more people there at a Cure concert in England than any place in the world. They are like gods there. It is breath taking and worth seeing.

I have been a long time fan of The Cure...since1985! I have seen them 3 times. The first time was Wembly Arena in 1989 :) I hope that they don't fizzle out with a totally dreadful album -.-

I love this band there music hook me from the start. I remember going to this club called fish dance in dallas and hearing inbetween days for the first time and being hooked. No matter how much time had passed the cure keep on going and I'll be there to.

The Cure is my favorite band of all time. They've been around since the 70s and they're still awesome. I saw them in 2008 in Boston and it was amazing. Great audience participation (during lovecats there was a "dancer" that knew the song inside and out). There's so many fans that have been dedicated for 30 years to maybe just a year but the atmosphere from The Cure makes it feel like everyone knows each other and its like a reunion. The new album is awesome, but I haven't listened to a Cure record that I haven't grown to love. Plus The Only One single came out on my birthday! =)
I definately agree with db8coach, this is the best band live. I think everyone and anyone who loves The Cure for one song or all of them go see them!!!
Its well worth the money and time!

When will 4:13 Dream be availible on Zune. We waited forever for this album to be released and now that it finally has been, we find that its not in the Zune market place yet. Hurry up!!!!!!! And about the B-Sides, yea we want those too!!!

All the new singles from "Dream 13" all have amazing B-sides to them, and the only download-able one so far was Down Under from Sleep When I'm Dead. I'm just wondering why we're not getting the other ones from Freakshow and The Only One.

If you ever get a chance to watch the cure live, do it.  They are the best live band ever.
