Guy Pisapia asked vocalist
Jean-Marc Pisapia to join them as
the Box in 1982. He agreed, and the band released their first album (self-titled) two years later. Although all the members were French Canadian, they mostly sang in English.
All the Time, All the Time, All the Time followed in 1985, but the band didn't make it in Canada until 1987's
Closer Together. Their last album was
The Pleasure and the Pain in 1990; after Bernand and
Guy Pisapia left in 1992, the greatest hits compilation A Decade of the Box was released in 1993. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
