The most underrated band

By hbl33 6/26/2009 04:14:57
Alan Parsons and the band is perhaps one the most underrated bands of all time, right next to the Electric Light Orchestra. Their music has a deep context and meaning to their topic. I began listening the band after finding the samples of the band used in hip-hop songs (Outerspace featuring Immortal Technique- Angels of death samples Alan Parson's Breakdown). Also recommended - Silence and I, La Sagrada Familia and to name a few.

Freudiana

By sschinning 10/20/2008 16:24:02
In 1990 there was a final Alan Parsons Project album (a collaboration between Parsons and Woolfson) released called "Freudiana". The songs were the base for a musical. Just search for "Freudiana" to go and listen to it.
