What?

By metalwheel 10/6/2009 01:30:16
Low was the album that brought Testament back to life! Demonic was their stab at death metal and The Gathering has it's merits as well. How can you not like those albums? James Murphy was the shot in the arm Testament needed, dude.

Testament for LIFE!!!

By TwistedJC 8/13/2009 23:31:12
Frack I'm Old!  I Saw Testament on their first Tour in 87 First (Strike crossed out on tour shirts) Tour is Deadly!  And many times since then, most recently in San Francisco (Testament's and my home town area) with Lazarus A.D. and Unearth for the last show of the 09 tour in the US.  As for Chuck and his mic guitar, he has been doing that since day 1, doubt he will ever stop.

Yeah man saw them in Toronto with Lazarus A.D and Unearth. Fucking intense as shit. Billy really needs to stop playing the guitar on the mic stand though.............

Haunting!

By p1crew 1/14/2009 21:14:17
This band still haunts everyone else after all these years.  Glad Chuck was able to battle through cancer.  His benefit concert is probably what sparked a resurgence in Thrash.  His cancer could have been a blessing and a curse.  Glad he's still kicking it out!  Haunting, and the New Order are my favorite albums.

Really good band

By GPErik94 12/7/2008 20:04:40
if you like older metallica or any thrash this band will satisfy. Im not a big fan of their albums low, demonic, and the gathering, but their new album is pretty sick.

Unpopular...

By Misery Messiah 10/1/2008 16:43:15
I really don't see how it is they didn't reach Metallica's, or even Megadeth's, succes. They are such a great band, I look forward to their next album.

True to their roots...

Testament just seems to get better with age, they're still practicing what they preach.
