Favorite band

I was 10 when i started listening to soad, im 14 now, i wish they would go back on tour, they are my favorite band. I learned to play guitar bass and drums and now i can play most of their songs. they opened my eyes to many different kinds of music. SOAD FTW!

i started listening to system of a down a while ago and and at first i wasnt a fan.  i didnt like hard rock and the music gave me a headache.  but as i kept listening to them i realized that i was liking them more and more.  now they have completely changed the style of music that i listen to.  i say they are the best band ever,you just have to give them a chance.

If just political I wouldn't care much but their often comical and satirical lyrics make these guys an awesome band.  Shavo's bass playing blows me away...

The way that system has put "deeper" meanings in their music is truly amazing.  I enjoy just listening to there songs and thinking about the lyrics and what their deeper meaning is...If you havent already check out Scars on Broadway or Serj Tankian's solo stuff.  Ryan1295 if you like the songs about politics check out Anti-Flag

These guys are truly amazing, my all time favorite band. If it wasn't for these guys, I wouldnt even know music. They are pure awsomeness. No band can put there views on politics in there music and make it awsome like SOAD can. The day they get back together will be the best day of my life!!!

Armenian Pride

I think I fell in love with these guys and their music way back with Toxicity hit and I loved hard rock and the like ever since. SOAD also gave me something other than something to just listen to, I soon became interested with my Armenian heritage and even more so upon realization that I shared this likewise heritage to the band. They've done great things in music and in the Armenian community. I became very sad upon hearing of their dissolution, I hope they will reassemble so I can see them live and fulfill this dream of being in the presence of such a great group.
