Singer/songwriter Sarah Elizabeth Foster is a soulful vocalist with a bent toward '60s pop and R&B. A Houston, Texas native, Foster graduated from the University of Miami in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in music. She then relocated to New York City and began writing and performing. She released her self-produced full-length debut album, Gardening from the Ground Up, Pt. 1, in 2008. In 2011 Foster returned with the Dusty Springfield and Nancy Sinatra-influenced Take Me for a Ride. ~ Matt Collar, Rovi
