    • Finally something worth listening to this year! Eet is by the far the best song off her new album.

      My little brother got me listening to RS about 2005 before she really
      hit it big and was still an indie darling.  over the last few years
      shes become substantially more popular and i think that Far represents
      that.  It still has its organic indie roots without abandoning its
      playful spirit or respect for emotion.  y only complaint is that the
      album feel poorly assembled track wise, and it creates a feeling of
      pandering insta of trying o tell a story, creates a kind of sappy first
      half of the album and a much more uplift and satisfying last half.  Of
      course, all that could have been fixd by reorganizing some of the
      tracks, but i suppose that all that is more personal opinion and doesnt
      detract from the quality of the album at all.  Every track seems to be
      wwell thought out and approached with care.  This is an easy album to
      listen to, but it is devoid of the more "aggresive" tracks on her
      earlier albums (1.99c blues, that time, chemo limo and the like),
      create an easier album to listen to.
      
      Overall, this is a tremdous
      album, and is most likely going to be her most successful yet, but it
      feel like it abandones many of her older fans for a more populist
      message.

    • What does it matter if you're gay or straight when listening to music.  Though she may have catchy melodies, she can't write lyrics worth a damn.  They might seem cute and fresh, and have an indie feel, but there's no substance there.  The pictures they paint have auspicious beginnings, but fall flat.  C minus at best.

    • I love Regina for her ability to make strange noises. She could break and reinvent any convention in music and I am certain that the world would be a better place for it. She is not afraid to make jokes in the middle of a song, or sing a song she doesn't remember the words to. God I love her wit, wisdom and (of course) her vocal cords.
