A taste worth aquiring

I was slow to warm up to Placebo. The pop infectiousness of the track Meds drew me in but the denser more challenging material took time to sink in. It's worth the work though; Placebo challenges and rewards in equal doses. If the names The Cure, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Garbage, and Depeche  Mode make you'r ears perk up then grab Placebo ASAP.

Placebo's music is genius and very addicting.
It seems like once I start listening to them,theres nothing else I want to listen to.

This band is able to combine to darkest of lyrics with the most lovely melodies, and no matter what, the song is always absolutely beautiful.  Even the stranger, darker ones...they're just amazing. The lyrics are wonderfully well written.
