My new favorite band.

By K3rmitdafrg 9/13/2009 20:11:49
Started off buying "Dig Out Your Soul".  Was very unique and almost reminded me of Coldplay.  Investigated and fell in love with Don't Believe the Truth" and "(What's the Story) Morning Glory".  Great band and Loving it.

Great band, all I can say.

By LJOY95 6/17/2009 22:00:25
Well, with the beginning of Oasis that made them extremely famous, from the closet to Earls Court. I say that after the second album, they never got any better than that, the third album was solid, the rest have been sub-par when compared to their first two albums (Definately Maybe, and (What's The Story) Morning Glory?). The live album, I have to admit, as much as I love Oasis, was a bad performance, excluding the stellar performances of 'Champagne Supernova', 'Don't Look Back in Anger', and 'Live Forever'. I hope for them to release one from their days of the first two albums. Now, the last album, Don't Believe The Truth was a step in the right direction, DOYS nailed it and showed they were on the right path. Arrogance got in their way, thus causing sloppy work, but they have made their climb back. Most bands that make their best work are never able to top or match it again.

Oasis

By HatrickPatrick3 1/23/2009 22:11:04
I completly agree with your comment bamrcks they are just are The Beatles of the 90's I rember being a little kid and listing to  Oasis. Unfortunaly i was born into the wrong era of music the 2000's were rap reigns supreme. Fortunalty this era is almost over and im hoping something cool comes along.

The Beatles

By bamrcks 11/12/2008 18:19:02
They are without a doubt The Beatles of my generation. The 90's was a superb era for alternative/pop music overshadowed by the new dawn of rap/hip-hop and just like The Beatles every song goes with some different aspect of life, whether it's mine or yours. If you're having a shitty day, a wonderful day, or somewhere in between, all you have to do is find the right Oasis song/album and let them do the rest.

Great Quality of Music

By missyelly22 8/11/2008 02:50:16
In my opinion their best material has got to be "What's the Story Morning Glory", and my second favorite is "Definitely Maybe". I actually enjoy hearing Noel Gallagher singing better than Liam...That's just me tough. <br/>Been a fan for over 13 years now and counting!

oasis is the shit

By R to the ich 8/10/2008 16:01:47
There is no doubt about it. Wherever you live, Oasis is world renowned. Most people only like them because of champagne supernova or wonderwall, but they are inspirational and quite good. My favorite is The Masterplan, with all b-sides. That music is straight from the heart
