NAS HAS INFLUENCED ALMOST EVERY MC THAT HAS CAME UP AFTER HIM AND HE DID IT HUMBLY. I WATCH BELLY AND SEE THAT SIDE OF HIM THAT NOONE EVER SEES UNLESS YOU REALLY UNDERSTAND HIS MUSIC AND LISTEN TO WHAT HE HAS TO SAY. I AM FROM THE WEST COAST BUT EVEN AFTER ALL THAT EAST COAST WEST COAST BEEF I WAS STILL LISTEN TO NAS ON THE LOW. From Illmatic to Nas...this man has never let me down.  Nas paints a perfect picture everytime he touches a mic.  Every time a new albums drops, its like a breathe of fresh air.  For weak A$$ rappers like Soulja Boy to try to put Nas on blast is a total joke.  Nas doesnt even need to respond to $hitty boys of his caliber.   Tell that garbage a$$ dude to listen to "Carry on Tradition" from Hip Hop is Dead on repeat. The voice for all people and a true poet.  He touches on every subject there is...who else does that?

To me its tough to crown "The Greatest Emcee". To me, each bring something different and enjoyable to the table.  Depending of what Im feeling at the time I can easily listen to Big, Jay, or Pac...but Nas is definetly my favorite Emcee.

Nas is one of the most lyrical emcee's ever son word play is nuts and he spits what most cats are afraid to spit and his music has content from illmatic to untitled esco has put it down one love to the god emcee and congrats on the new seed on the way 1

I think that the latest CD will shake the world up. I've been following Nas for a long long time and he always come correct. July 1!!! UPDATE I think that the released date has been moved to july 15. Be on the look out for the mixtape that drops July 5th. My boy stay putting it down

Ok so we all know Nas is a great rapper who doesn't talk about things most hip hop and rappers rap about nowadays but someone answer this for me....why is it Nas is hardly heard on the Radio??

Nas is maddd talented, like what crazypostman87 said, what Nas raps and says on his albums seperates him from other MC's who just raps about money, cars, and hoes, etc. He stands up for his own rights and beliefs, and still keeps his style!!!
(which reminds me of some of the best old school MC's out there)
