You gotta Love this band no matter what. They have such a unique sound. All their Songs are great!

They have a very distinct sound, and if you give them a couple listens you will probably like it. My favorite songs are float on, dashboard, fire it up, and the view.

I really love them. There is a 90% chance that a Modest Mouse CD is in my car CD player at any given moment. Their early stuff is great (see Everywhere and His Nasty Parlour Tricks) and the newer stuff is a little different but still awesome. The second half of We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank is wonderful. Good News for People Who Love Bad News is my favorite album of all time. It is put together so well.

I love there early stuff, the moon and antartica is my favorite.

i love Modest Mouse they are the best band ever made ever! I have been looking for another band similer to them cuz they are just so amazing and i need more. but i just cant find anything, they just have a very differnt sound. they are amazing

There's definitely a lot to be said for the last two albums by Modest Mouse, but there's nothing more crazy awesome than some of their earlier stuff, like The Lonesome Crowded West and The Fruit That Ate Itself. That music is a lot more raw than their newest stuff, especially in Issac's voice and lyrics, and the drumming and guitar sound as brutally honest and raw as Issac does, while still maintaining a lot of the catchy hooks that are embedded in their later music. I became a fan after Good News, but I'm definitely glad that I looked back and discovered their older stuff

Float On and Dashboard are magical, but seriously, songs like Trailer Trash and Trucker's Atlas are superior. Wish they were on the most played chart.

I've listened to Modest Mouse since 1999, and I have to say that their music is good any way you look at it. Sure, some might say that they have "sold out", but with this much talent, it's hard NOT to get noticed eventually. Though their newer stuff has gotten a little poppier, it is still the righteous and true Modest Mouse. Regardless to what any might say, Modest Mouse is the ray of light shining through the clouds that is todays music, giving hope to all those who enjoy a great beat and awesome lyrics without sounding like every other generic "punk/rock" band. So power to Isaac Brock and the rest of Modest Mouse for giving over a decade of kick-a music and hopefully a lot more to come!
