An older sibling of legendary British blues guitarist/singer
Peter Green,
Mike Green (born
Michael Greenbaum) is a singer and songwriter in his own right. He first emerged on record in the early '80s on
Peter Green's album
White Sky, which was apparently done at a time when the younger
Green was unable -- perhaps as a result of the personal demons with which he has struggled -- to write his own material.
Mike Green sang on the title track and wrote the songs on the album. He also later worked on
Peter Green's
Blues for Dhyana (1998). ~ Bruce Eder, All Music Guide
