metro station / comments

I got a meet and greet with them recently. It would have made me happy to just see the show, but I got that, too. :)

Trace said he liked my shirt. What was I wearing? A Metro Station shirt, ha ha. Too bad I was shy and only said thank you. I should have told him that my baby 2nd cousin loved it because of the bright colors. He probably would've liked that. BTW, I'm normally shy...Plus I was alone, so I had no one familiar to work with. It's not because they're famous or that I really like them (though I do). I was shy with ATL, too, and I'm not a fan of theirs (met them, too--they did their meet and greet together).

The show was great. Trace seemed quiet in person (to me) but he's a live wire on stage. He jumps around and throws and flings his guitar around. There are live videos on the Internet, but it's best in person. He also spit on the audience. Got a little on me, ha ha.

Saw FOB at the same show, but I liked Metro Station much more. I was very impressed, which almost never happens. They also never bore me, which rarely is the case with me.

I would suggest that people see them, cuz they put on an electric show!

all you people that dnt like them are really crazy. they are asome. even though most of his songs are about sex. thats ok. haha

Metro Station is a complete non-musically inclined joke of a band. Sure, they have a sort of fun lame 80's sound to them that could be enjoyable depending on the moment. But to truly take them seriously as musicians would just be laughable.

the guy below me "FlyingHarry420" is an idiot!!! he typed a lot over a band he doesn't even like!! i personally think he's just pissed cuz he's boring and has waaay too much time on his hands!!  :P

The newest band to come out and pretend to be cool.



Their music is primarily targeted towards the "just hit puberty"
teens. The lyrics themselves are boring rehashed lines that could
easily be seen as coming from other crappy similar bands (such as fall
out boy).






We start again with a vague opening statement, because again their
audience is mostly idiots and cannot comprehend anything deep. The
second line is of course about sex, in order to maintain the three
second attention span of their audience.



Look up some more of their songs, they will follow the same
pattern. Vague lyric, lyric about sex, vague lyric, lyric about sex.



Of course the band will sell plenty of CD's thanks to the goons at
much music and MTV. The band members will end up believing they have
talent because a bunch of 13 year old girls will be screaming whenever
they see them, and unfortunately they will sell enough records to
continue making music.



To make a more general summary - the band members can barely play
their instruments, the melodies are boring and tedious, the lyrics are
poor, repetitive and lack anything original.


The band itself only got a record deal due to the connections they
have to the Hannah Montana show. These kids could never make it big if
they had to start fresh - as they have no talent.



This band is essentially, in one single example, everything that is wrong with music today.
