one of a knid!!!!
And they NEED to come to the U.S,
my life would be complete!!!!

I like this band.  They have hit it big everywhere but in The U.S.. I think it is time for them to try and see how america likes them.

Have loved them for two years now. Great band, wonderful people, such a blast to watch! They are pretty amazing. :] And their songs rock.

Tom, Danny, Dougie, and Harry are very talented muscians. Their music is very fun. They write their own lyrics. Tom has co/written 10 number singles ( 7 for McFLY). They were all under 20 years old when they became a sensation in England.<br/>The boys are best friends (they had shared a house for 2 years, and now live on the same street), and have great chemistry which is evident on stage and in their music.<br/>In May 2008 the band announced that they had dropped their record label and created a new label, Super Records. They wanted to have full creative control over things like the album art, production, and lyrics (the label had made them change some lyrics).<br/>The boys are releasing their first album on their own label in July 2008 in Ireland and the U.K.<br/>Check out youtube because McFLY, for some reason, sounds even better live. (I think this is because there is a lot of production on their records, which Tom said factor in their decision to leave their label. He said that their records would come back sounding way different from what they wanted. So you get their real sound in concert, which is simply amazing). <br/>I recommend this band to anyone who enjoys catchy tunes, wants to kick back and relax, or let it all go and jump around. I would describe their sound as pop-punk with fun vocal harmonies and tongue-in-cheek lyrics.<br/>June 2008 EDIT: McFly have announced that they are giving away their fourth studio album, Radio:ACTIVE, for FREE on July 20, using the British paper "Mail on Sunday." They will release a deluxe version of Radio:ACTIVE in September, this version will contain a  32 page booklet, 4 more songs, and a concert dvd! Check out their myspace page for more details.
