biography
Formed out of the ashes of the Promise Ring and the Dismemberment Plan, indie rock outfit Maritime come by the way of Washington, D.C., and Milwaukee. Davey von Bohlen (vocals/guitar), Dan Didier (drums), and Eric Axelson (bass) formed in 2003. With an earnest pop sound that taps into the sandy-toned melodies of Elephant 6 and classic punk hooks, Maritime released their debut album, Glass Floor, in 2004. - perfect from start to finish i used to listen to it like everyday when it came out, and really its just a parade of punk rock t-shirts ohhhh, i also don't think I know, I know......
