I am one who believes that without the unfortunate/fortunate circumstances that stole her away from us, Lauryn Hill had the makings to become one of the greatest soul singers to every record. She was a phenomenal artist and her music seemed to transcend every imaginable bound and barrier.

people say that India Arie sounds like her...in my opinion, Nobody b soundin the way Lauryn Hill does!  I love india arie just the same, but there's a strength to lauren hill's voice that no one else has.

I don't even know how to DESCRIBE Lauryn Hill. She was SUCH a great artist. Her voice and her lyrics are amazing. I listen to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill everyday and I get the same feeling everytime. I'm sad that she left us, and everyday I hope that she makes a return. We need her.
