Either that, or the "true fans" are upset because Kings of Leon's new albums sounds absolutely nothing like their older stuff. They aren't upset because they're big, they're upset because they didn't get big off of the stuff they liked.

I've been listening to this band for quite awhile now and while i do think Because of the Times is a bit better then OBTN, I dont understand why true "fans" always get upset when their favorite band gets discovered and blows up huge. They deserve this and have been for quite awhile, and if the rest of the world finally realizes this and starts jammin to there two radio hits, I say, Let Them. Whats the big deal. Everyone has to start somewhere. Everyone did. Let the new fans enjoy the music. They will eventually stumble upon their earlier works and learn to appreciate it... A true fan would want to share them with other and be proud that they have achieved this level of sucess, not try to hide them away becuase its cool to know of unknown bands and them bail on them when they reach mainstream... They deserve it.

I love them! Every album that they 've done are better than the last one. My first impression of them were " Wow! This is amazing!!...This is the true rock". This band is the best stuff in the last years.

ok all you people know is their new stuff do any of you know Charmer or Mcfearless or Arizona or four kicks If you ask me their new album is ok their best is "Because of the Times". And i heard on the today show that some say they're gonna be the new U2 no i think after this album no ones gonna really listen to them they're either gonna get popier and lose their old hard core fans or they're gonna go back to how they were and all the stupid pop prep people are gonna be like woah whats this and not listen to them I love em )their old stuff) but i dont really think they're gonna last like how Green Day or even Nirvana has, and i heard they're gonna make a country album.... YUCK EWWW! o and i saw them when they opened for Pearl Jam

the OBTN album but if youre just a sex on fire/use somebody fans then you arent true KOL fans. you gotta appreciate past work like California Waitng, Four Kicks, Ragoo, and such.

I agree w/ Grunger Dude also...  there latest album is amazing but yeah their older albums are where it all began. there starting to get alittle overratted w/ "Sex On Fire" and "Use Somebody". It sucks that there on the radio & all over tv.... now when I think about it.... I wasn't ready sharing them w/ the rest of the world. I hope i'm not the only one who thinks this...

I Never heard of Kings Of Leon untill the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. They performed "Use Somebody", I thought It sounded cool. I liked the song. I was like "wow", just watching them. After that I heard "Sex On Fire". Those are the two songs I listen to. Now I know these are the new songs. It's time to listen to the old.

I agree with Grunger Dude and nickbooth,I still like the new stuff 2,but the new stuff is not all I now about I like all their stuff old and new.

i like aha shake heartbreak and youth and young manhood better than the most recent two. i think the old kol is better. please, get the other albums if only by the night is the only one you have.

I love Kings of Leon. Only By the Night is by far their best album. Every album they make is good, but each new album that comes out, the better it is than the last one.
