Yes, Janet was my first introduction to music, thanks to my aunt..lol.  I was first exposed to Janet with 3  music videos that were recorded on VHS (yes..way back then) called

. These songs came from her 1986 album Control. Ever since the early 90s I was hooked.  I began to follow Janet throughout her career and fell in love with songs such as

from her 1993 album Janet. I Really bacame Janet's biggest fan with the release of her 1997 album The Velvet Rope.  This was the first cd I ever bought and owned.

• I Get Lonely

 is one of many great hits.  I'm still am amazed at how perfectly crafted her albums are.  Her dance moves and presence are truly inspirational.  Every album Janet has released, especially since 1986, is truly a masterpiece in thier own right.  Her 2008 release Discipline is another perfect example.

• LUV

 happens to be one of my many favorites!!  Janet will forever be an icon and inspiration to everyone, everywhere!!

I have been a fan of Janet since I was kid, the earliest video I remember from her is Escapade.  She is awesome and her new album Discipline is one of the best albums of the year and definitely her best since The Velvet Rope!  Hopefully, more people will get to check out Discipline and find out what they've been missing!

the most incredible thing about janet, and its perhaps the most consistent thing as well is she is awe inspiring. it doesn't matter if its music, film, an interview...you feel an immediate draw to her. there is something unequvically innate about her, as well as her work. here's to hoping janet just keeps going..."don't stop, don't stop."

Janet Jackson has been a favorite of mines since I was 5 years old! The first music video that made me fall in love with Janet was

 and ever since that date I've been in love ever since! I went to see Janet in Concert when I was 7 years old in '98! Best date in my life until the Rock Withchu Tour date of Sept. 25th when she comes to my hometown (Chicago)! I will continue to love you Janet and I think I'm her true #1 fan!<br/>If you haven't bought her new album,

I love JJ! She is definitely my role model. I will be live center stage on the floor at her concert in October! Cant wait to Rock Wit U!

I just love Ms. Jackson she is one of the artist that I have like since I was a kid and now I am 28. I think her Discipline album is good I was kinda worried that it wouldn't do well. My fav. on the album are What ur Name,Feedback,Luv,2nite,Can't<br/>B Good

I really like the Discipline album, I have been a fan for years but the last few albums were so so. I really like Rock with U. That song bumps. I'm just glad that she is back to her original style of music. Also my daughter of sixteen loves her album too =] Thanks Janet
