One of my favorite groups of late. A rapper from the ATL and a British DJ/producer combine to form something so revolutionary that it defies description. It's fresh, emotional, envoking, inviting, impulsive, and well... genius.

Simply amazing, in all aspects.

To me the Lyrics on Cee-lo are the words of the Beatles. Time-less, with meaning and such thought. You feel every word, every line and you feel you can connect with this man on so many levels like he's in your head or was there when it happen, telling your story for you. To me the best song "Who's going to save my soul now". Just to sit and vibe. You feel it. with your eyes close you can actually see it unfold in your head. The same goes for every other song on both the CD's.
     DJ Danger Mouse is one of the greats. To me every sound he uses has it's place, it's not cookie cutter. It's his own that no one will or could ever match. He's a truly under estimated producer. Him getting togeher with Cee-lo was like peanut-butter and Jelly. I know this might not make since to anyone wholes never listened to Gnarls Barkley, this might even be a little drawn out, but listen and you'll understand and agree.

The lyrical content of Cee-lo has always made my wheels turning in the past but now he has surpassed all expectations of taking it to the next level! St. Elsewhere ( Song) it paints a picture in vivid colors and  mind reacions..

The spiral these artisit's take me on is unbelievable. when you transcend this physical state of mind they vibrate on a higher level of being. Damn is feels good to hear ART! ..........................not a fanatic just a believer......ya dig?
