biography
Mashing together electro, rock, and funk and taking cues from such artists as Daft Punk and Prince, Ghostland Observatory formed in Austin, TX, and consists of vocalist/guitarist Aaron Behrens and producer/beat-maker Thomas Turner. The duo played its first show July 4, 2004, and the following year put out its debut, delete.delete.i.eat.meat. Paparazzi Lightning quickly followed in January 2006. ~ Kenyon Hopkin, All Music Guide

First saw them on Austin City Limits.Tom Turner's use of the Vampire cape was awesome.

- I just saw them recently in D.C. and they threw one of the most energetic performances I have ever seen in my life, if you like them, ..see them live! They're one of the few groups I've known to pretty much sound better live! They belong center stage and it shows! Definitely get the crowd going!
