Out of the Blue and Beyond

I agree, Out of the Blue is a great album.  I enjoy both Secret Messages and Time also.  All three albums I can listen from beginning to end...that at least for me is a sign of a good album.

Out of the Blue

The diciplined sound of ELO and Jeff Lynne's vocal is unmistakable.  Out of the Blue is a remarkable album, and the four songs that make up A Concerto for a Rainy Day are among my favorites of all time.

Discovery or "Disco Very" is just that... dance music and had some hits, but is now just campy.  Later releases have eliminated the orchistra aspect, and are less memorable.

I recommend all ELO releases from Out of the Blue and earlier.
