The band of my youth. My John Taylor orange hair cut. I dreamt of woman dressed like wild animals. I loved it all D2. You were my light in the dark as a teen. All those hours singing thier songs. I wish all would listen to D2 all the time and life would be great. Buy all Duran Duran and you wont go wrong.

The soundtrack of my life

I have been a huge fan of Duran Duran since I was 14 years old.  Their music has gotten me through my awkward teen years and all of my adult life.  Through my ups and downs, they have been the one constant thing I could count on.  Their persistence throught trying times, defecting band members and declining record sales has given me a life lesson in sticking to your guns when you believe in what you're doing.  DD members, if you're reading I believe in what you're doing and as long as you continue to make music I will continue to purchase it and play it continuously.

Wild Boy

Just finished Andy Taylor's Bio "Wild Boy" about being in D2.  It's an easy read, but I'm still amazed how they kept a squeaky clean rep in the 80's... Lot's of booze and coke.

I heard of Duran Duran when I saw a movie with one of their songs. (Hungry like the wolf) & it was good. I like their other songs, too.

 I was introduced to Duran Duran through one of my college friends who just couldn't get enough. I'm actually glad she was just a DD fiend because I can hear what attracted her to the group. Tight melodies, great harmonies and some good singing.

The fact of the matter is D2 are always going to be excellent. As the years pass they just become more and more wonderful. Their music grows with them - with us. They still sound great, they still are gorgeous and their music is a very much a part of the landscape of popular music. I hope they never stop making music! Thanks Gents for being the soundtrack to our lives.
