With their confrontational, stridently politically correct dance music, Consolidated became a small sensation in the early '90s. Not only was the group openly socialist, but the group incorporated all of their messages into their music; their records are unapologetically political and sometimes antagonizingly so. And it was the politics, not their hip-hop/industrial mix, that earned them attention. - This goup was one of my favorites in the 90's. Their brutal honesty and scarcasim really hit me in a don't give a fuck kind of way. I still listen to them today. Some of the musical style is a bit dated, but most of the messages are still valid. Their relationship with MC 900 FT Jesus and DHOH made it a fun journey in music and polital activisim.<br/>Thanks for all the woderful memories!
