colbie redux

Not quite the calibre of her first album, which was quite refreshing--nothing really new musically, but it introduced an artist that will probably have a loyal following for a few years out. This album seems like more typical of sophomore efforts, and those efforts often more reflect the industry's penchant for milking an audience/artist than for revealing more of an artist's talent. That being said, "Breakthrough" isn't quite what the name implies, but it's got enough "Colbie-essence" to give Colbie fans a snack to hold them over.
