Fronted by a floppy-haired clothing designer who looks quite a bit like an emo version of Saturday Night Live's Andy Samberg and sings in an unusually high-pitched vocal style suggesting that the Darkness' Justin Hawkins was a key unacknowledged influence, Bring Me the Horizon aren't the average deathcore band. The group was formed in Sheffield, England, during 2004; singer Oliver Sykes, guitarists Lee Malia and Curtis Ward, bassist Matt Kean, and drummer Matt Nicholls originally established their own label, Thirty Days of Night, to release their debut EP, This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For, in 2005. Upon signing to the higher-profile label Visible Noise (Lostprophets, etc.), the EP was reissued the following year. Bring Me the Horizon's full-length debut, Count Your Blessings, was released in October 2006. ~ Stewart Mason, All Music Guide

  - count your blessings is absolutely amazing and i love every song, suicide season straight up sucks. amazing olliver is an amazing screamer,but whatever the fuck yelling singing he does through all of suicide season just sucks a big one.

  - People judge this band too quickly. Though Sykes' writing style is a little unimaginative, he has the right idea.

  - ferst time i herd you guys i jizzed so badly i was drowning in it it was insaine i was like hoyl shti this is some of the best music i have ever herd and i was like shit son and my friends just like there good eh so i stole her i pod for a week and only listen to you guys haha and then she hunted me down and thretend to cut off my balls so i got a 120 GB zune and shes like wanna trade and its so funny how far of topic i am its awesome love you guys you make me jizz nad not very meny things can do that ;)
