Guys Daisy is AMAZING!!!!

One of my friends is a friend with the band and from what she says, the new album is going to sound like Your Favorite Weapon, which is totally awesome!

every time i listen to this band it just amazes me how they matured their style throughout the course of only THREE ALBUMS! most of the bands i listen to keep the same style throught the same amount of albums before they matured to a new direction. in brand new's case, no album is the same as another, it takes talent to have the motivation to change your sound from something you were good at to something completely new...a good example of that would be the difference between "your favorite weapon" and "the devil and god are raging inside of me". they went from a punk-popish kinda sound to a more acoustic/electric "i'm all grown up mommy!"  approach...your favorite weapon, deja entendu, and devil and god are all amazing albums, and they're all a good example of what separates the good from the great....being able to change without selling out

so not to chime into the whole best band in the world thing but really if you believe that they are then thats what they are to you but maybe not to everyone else... as far as I am concerned they are by far my favorite.

Everyone lives in their own world. When someone says a band is the best in the world they aren't speaking on behalf of the intire world, just their own.

 Brand New = Best Band in the World

Can you really ever state that any band is "The Best Band in the World?" Nothing like that can exist. It just isn't impossible. You can say in your opinion that they are the best, but you can't speak on behalf of the planet.

WHAT?!!?!?! they might be tallented, but the best band in the world??!? i can not stand their music or vocals, even if they might be good. it does not appeal to me what so ever... but brand new.... all i listen to next to death cab and at the drive-in.
