biography

Not to be confused with the similarly named Phoenix screamo outfit blessthefall, Bless the Fallen is an abrasive metal sextet out of Poughkeepsie, NY. Comprised of vocalist Mikey, guitarist Kyle Benson, bassist Nick, guitarist/vocalist Kyle Doobie and drummer Phil, the guys first recorded and self-released the EP So Dark the Crown of Man. A deal with Crash Music followed before the band was even together two whole years. Bless the Fallen's subsequent full-length, The Eclectic Sounds of a City Painted Black and White, was then released in August 2007. ~ Corey Apar, All Music Guide
