biography

A trio comprising Masa, 2DD and Nanao, Audio Active make a pumped-up rastified version of hip-hop, with heads bowed to dub wizard Lee "Scratch" Perry. Recording for the British dub label On-U Sound (helmed by Adrian Sherwood), Audio Active released Apollo Choco in 1997, followed by the obligatory remix album It's a Stony.
