the new songs I've heard are pretty good but I want to hear more William so i can see if he's good or not, and to the people saying these songs arent AIC well if you were an AIC fan you would know tha Jerry writes all or/most of the songs so if Layne was still alive the songs would be different only a little bit, yeah I agree no one can replace Layne but it like what AC/DC did they found a guy that sounded exactly like I dont really agree that they got a new singer what they should have done was have Jerry sing and make it a 3 piece, But Layne is proud it sounds like stuff from the self titled just go listen to Grind

Being an old school fan of AIC, I have to say that "A Looking In View" is a bad ass track. And the one that's been on the radio is pretty good too. I was a little iffy about the whole thing when I heard that AIC was touring with a new singer but, I can't wait to see what Jerry and the band bring with the new CD.

I've known "Mike Inez" since 1992, he played in Ozzy's band on the "No More Tears" Tour.Ozzy is the one who told Mike to join alice in 1993. In 2007 in Ft.Laud,florida with the new vocalist, Alice N Chains played and I talked to mike backstage. I told him they should make a new album.Now after hearing: Jerry-grungie-dark-sounding-guitar-Master-Cantrell's new riffs I am glad to see he took my advise!!! after listening to their single A Looking in View i was really hoping the release date was pushed up for the album.

sadly we all have to wait till late Sept. to aquire yet another amazing AiC album.

I love this band. I didn't get the chance to ever see them live. I started listening to them no more than a year ago. Layne was, IS great. His vocals are haunting and his lyrics are there. Alice in Chains truly was an amazing band.

Any true fan of AIC will tell you, Facelift is the best. "Bleed the Freak" and "Love, Hate, Love" are two of the best songs the band ever wrote. The power Layne put into his vocals on those tracks was unsurpassed by anything he did later in his career.  For drummers, I will conceed. Mr. Kinney only got better with time.

Saw AiC last year and can't wait for their new album to come out this fall.  One of the baddest bands ever!!

oh man Alice in Chains I love their dark lyrics and their guitar riff are badass. One of my favorite grunge bands.

My Sons Middle Name Is "LAYNE", He Is Named After The Man, What More Do You Need To Know!!!

The only person I miss almost as much as Layne... Is Dime, a culture as a whole cried for both of them, and neither can be replaced.
