Enduring.

Aimee Mann has endured.... endured the music business since the 80's, and based on her songs... she has endured quite a few tough knocks in her life, too.
Her music is always insightful, often it is painfully honest, sometimes absolutely brilliant, and almost never upbeat, but that isn't a bad thing.

Knowing a good thing

By TheAdept024 2/16/2009 23:14:42
When "Whatever" first came out, I had never heard of Til Tuesday. Then "I Should've Known" world premier'ed on 120 minutes one of the very few times I watched. I was like, "Wow, this is awesome." and so I went out and bought the album. Due to mischance and time I've had to buy this album 5 times... although funnily enough it was one of the few music CDs I had that survived Katrina.

When I was young...

By rhopson74 1/29/2009 18:19:35
This may sound sad, but when Aimee Mann was in Til Tuesday we watched her on  "Sold Gold" yes i was about 12 at the time and we didn't have a vcr or anything to record Voices carry, so we help up a tape player with a microphone and recorded their live performance and played it over and over! Those were the days.

My saviour

I've had a crush on Aimee Mann for over four years now. Her music has helped me in indescribable ways. Every song describes some part of my youth, and I'll never grow tired of her. Immortal music in every way!
