Collectables' Ultimate Christmas Album, Vol. 3 is another quirky mix of standards and relatively obscure holiday tunes. Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song," Perry Como's "Home for the Holidays," and Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" fall into the latter category, while the Impressions' "Amen," Mavis Staples' "Christmas Vacation," and Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds' "Chrissy the Christmas Mouse" are prime examples of the former. The Supremes' strangely egotistical "Twinkle Twinkle Little Me," Darlene Love's "All Alone on Christmas," and José Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad" are some of the other highlights from this interesting, if somewhat scattered, holiday collection. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
