Although it doesn't contain every great song Burt Bacharach ever wrote, the various-artists collection The Look of Love: The Classic Songs of Burt Bacharach is a wonderful sampling of his best moments. Over the course of 23 tracks, the album includes the most familiar Bacharach songs, all of them presented in their original hit versions, which means there is Dionne Warwick's "Walk on By," and Dusty Springfield's "I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself," the Walker Brothers' "Make It Easy on Yourself," Sandie Shaw's "(There's) Always Something There to Remind Me," Gene Pitney's "Twenty Four Hours from Tulsa," Aretha Franklin's "I Say a Little Prayer," B.J. Thomas' "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," and the Carpenters' "(They Long to Be) Close to You," among many others.
