A collection of down-to-midtempo breaks from the folks at Om Records, OM Lounge, Vol. 2 offers some cuts that are exclusive to the compilation and others that are from previously released albums. Fila Brazilia drops a lush tropical number, "President Chimp Toe," marked by the unexpected accompaniment of guitars and harps. On the more upbeat tip, Ian Pooley provides a funk-laced shuffle in the form of "What's Your Number?," and Om's own Ming & FS cut it up on "Bonus Round." All in all, it is as relaxing as the '70s retro egg chair pictured on the disc's cover; it's an excellent choice for those mornings when you're lounging after a long bender and in need of some aural comfort. ~ Derrick Mathis, All Music Guide
