Warp's second label comp in the Blech series gets an upgrade to CD and a boost in playing time (up to 70+ minutes!). Once again featuring the nimble deckwork of Strictly and P.C. of DJ Food, Blechsdottir includes previously released material from Disjecta, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Nightmares On Wax, B12, Jake Slazenger, Squarepusher, and DJ Mink, as well as a few exclusives (including cuts from Plaid and Mira Calix). The mix is even sturdier this time, with able cutting and scratching and loads of goofy, well-placed needle drop-ins (including Strictly and P.C. on voice synthesizer).
