To me, "Conquest" was one of the most disappointing tracks of Icky Thump (besides the title track). Therefore, I had very low hopes for the single. It was five bucks at Best Buy, so if it were horrible, I wouldn't've been out of much money.

However, the EP was fabulous. While "Conquest" is every bit as annoying as it was on Icky, the "filler" tracks, "It's My Fault for Being Famous", "Cash Grab Complications on the Matter", and "We Can't Afford to Look This Cheap" were well worth the price of admission. "It's My Fault" and "We Can't Afford" sound quite a bit like the Stripes from "It's True that We Love One Another". For some reason, "Cash Grab Complications" reminds me of the movie Leon the Professional. In hindsight, it would have been cheaper to buy the three tracks from Amazon MP3 or the Zune Marketplace, but then I wouldn't have the physical disc (and I'm a physical disc kind of guy).
