The Vandals' prankish punk isn't as tuneful or endearing as Descendents', but their simplistic humor does have its moments, as on "Anarchy Burger (Hold the Government)," which admirably pokes fun at punk rock itself. Other jokes ("Slap of Love") aren't nearly as funny. The Time Bomb release includes both Peace Through Vandalism and When in Rome Do as the Vandals. ~ Andy Hinds, All Music Guide
