Super TransAtlantic's debut album Shuttlecock includes their first single, "Superdown," which was also included on the American Pie soundtrack. The title track, "High," "Satelllite," "Superstar," and "Pretty Must Die" also feature the group's mix of chunky guitars, funky rhythms, and catchy songwriting. Though their nasal vocals are an acquired taste, Super TransAtlantic's aggressive but accessible alt-rock is shown off to full effect on Shuttlecock. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
